The Welcome Ministry Team welcomes visitors who attend St. Martin’s worship services and events and may be seeking a faith community to support their spiritual journey. Members or “Shepherds” are available as a resource for information about our parish and our various activities and ministries.

We are always available to answer questions about St. Martin’s, but we follow a newcomer’s lead in terms of how much contact and information is wanted. If they are interested in joining St. Martin’s, we facilitate their integration into the faith community. Twice a year, St. Martin’s offers Sunday morning brunches as opportunities to meet other members of all ages. Classes on the Episcopal Church and Baptism are scheduled to provide information to support and deepen the newcomer’s Christian faith.

Why?Our Parish Mission: Because we believe that the Gospel transforms, renews and changes lives, St. Martin’s By-the-Lake is a vibrant Christian community welcoming all to Worship our God, Grow our Faith and Love our World.

Our St. Martin’s Welcome Ministry Vision: We are committed to welcoming and including all individuals of any age who are interested in St. Martin’s as a Christian community to support their Christian faith and learning.

Where & When?

St. Martin’s Welcome Ministry meets on the second Tuesday of every month at 7 p.m., in conjunction with Ministry Night, following a short Prayer.
