We the people of St. Martin's by-the-Lake Episcopal Church are a spiritual community seeking to grow through Christian Worship, Christian Education, and Community Outreach.

It is part of our tradition to be a welcoming and open church. if you come out of another church background, or no church background at all, you will be welcome at St. Martin's. And all baptized Christians, of whatever background, are welcome to participate fully in all of our worship life, including communion.

We Believe in Jesus Christ as Lord, in the Bible as the Word of God, the traditions of the Church through the centuries as our guide, and human reason to interpret and understand the meaning of these things as gifts which God has given us. We affirm the historic creeds of the churches. We believe that we are called to help and serve our neighbors.
